Franchise awards shortlist announced

The shortlist has been announced for the upcoming Ulster Bank Irish Franchise Association Awards, which take place in Croke Park next month.

A number of prominent businesses including Abrakebabra, O2 and Snap Printing are on the shortlist for the awards, which consists of six separate categories. A number of new emerging franchises have also been honoured, including Kids Party Club and Tax Assist. Ed Murphy, the founder of Home Instead Senior Care, and John Green, the boss of Chem-Dry Ireland, have both been nominated for Franchise Person of the Year.

Abrakebabra Investments, the Streat,O2 and Subway have all been shortlisted for the retail franchise of the year award in this year’s awards.

The nominations in the service franchise awards include Fastway Couriers (Ireland), Chem-Dry Ireland Ltd, Snap Printing, Action Coach and Signs Express.

Other categories include franchisee of the year in both retail and service, an award which honours individuals who operate a franchise, and an award for emerging franchise of the year.
